I Have A Finishing Mower On A Farm Tractor. Which Way Do The Blade Bolts Loosen, Are They Reverse Thread?
What I am about to say is prefaced with ” PROBABLY”. That’s in big letters so be a bit careful.
In my experience. If there are 2 or more bolts in each blade, they are normally standard threads. I.E. right to tighter and left to loosen as you look down on the bolt head. If there is only 1 bolt in the center of the blade it can usually be LOOSENED by holding the blade fixed and turning the bolt in the direction that would drive the blade forward if it was free to turn.
Now remember what I said in the opening sentence. This answer is a “PROBABLY” answer and is based on my experiences. If something seems to be getting tighter or not working right, try a different attack on the problem.
Good luck.

I don’t believe so. All the mowers I’ve ever seen, and I’ve owned lots of em, are right hand. All my mowers were right side discharge, meaning the blades turned clockwise when looking from the top.

in most cases they will loosen revers threads if you will lock at the blade go the opposite direction of the cutting edge.
